Akiyoshido in Yamaguchi prefecture; representative limestone caves in Japan

Akiyoshido in Yamaguchi prefecture is one of the representative limestone caves in Japan, it's so large. It's quiet and mysterious atmosphere.

There are many stalactites. It takes stalactite as much as 100 years to get longer by 1 cm.

This stalactites grew and finally connected with ground.

This tunnel express the flow of times.

I found this interesting drink of Dragonball in vending machine near the exit.

You can access there Akiyoshido by bus from Mine station or Shinyamaguchi station.
