Where to visit in Tokyo International Airport (Haneda); Edo Koji

Many foreigners will use Tokyo International Airport (Haneda airport).
Actually, there are many amusement spots in Haneda airport. You should know about them before you visit Japan.
Here, where to visit in Haneda airport (International Terminal) are shown.

Edo Koji

Edo Koji Street is modeled after typical old Japanese street in Edo period (17 - 19th century).  It has a unique and interesting atmosphere. There are many shops and restaurants.
Edo Koji is upstairs of check-in counters.

Haneda Nihonbashi Bridge

Nihonbashi Bridge is originaly known as start point of main streets from Tokyo to each region in Edo period. Then, the start point revivaled at Haneda International airport.

Observation Deck

You can view planes parking, taking off or landing at observation deck. The view is beautiful and some photographer may be taking pictures.

Festival Square

Festival Square is modeled after typical Japanese style festival and a central raised platform.
There are many wooden plates on the wall, which tourists all around the world write their wishes on it. You can also add your wish.

You can sit and take a rest with viewing check-in counter of downstairs from there.

TIAT SKY ROAD

There is a simulator game of  flight (it costs 100 yen). You can experience a pilot and manipulate the plane.

And when you become hungry, you can have many Japanese foods at Edo Koji. The following is Tendon. This is one of my favorite Japanese foods.

I hope you enjoy amusements in Haneda airport not only just using it. Have a nice trip!
