Prices comparison of each country based on the price of Mcdonald's Filet o fish [2018][How much does it cost in Brasil?]

When I travel abroad, I am going into McDonald's of that country and comparing the taste to my hobby. My favorite menu is Filet o fish burger.

 

When shopping overseas like this, the high or low prices of local prices are worrisome. Even though the money you brought is constant, the standard of living will change according to the prices of that country.

 

So, I tried to compare prices of each country based on the price of Mcdonald's Filet o fish hamburger.

 

The next 15 countries have nominated. Do you know roughly which countries have high prices and which countries are cheap?

Well, the result is shown.

  

First of all, it is the price of each country's filet o fish burger (single item).

The unit was converted to US doller. The exchange rate is calculated as of October 2018.


 

The high prices of Switzerland is famous, and it's the highest price also in this comparisation. It's indeed high for me.(^^;) Prices of Japan are still not so high, aren't they?

It is surprising for me that Brazilian filet o fish burger is high price as much as European countries.

Next, prices of each country were compared based on filet o fish burger. The rate of prices of each country compared with Japan are shown.

We can't assume the cost of living in the country just by the price of filet o fish burger, but it could provide rough estimation. It might be interesting for overseas tourists.

There is "the Big Mac index" in the world, and it seems that this is a tape measure at the financial world. The Big Mac has a rate of diffusion higher than filet o fish burger. Actually, there is filet o fish burger in some countries when I looked for.

On the other hand, the taste of filet o fish burger in each countries were resemble. I felt salt is thicker than other countries for potato in Japan. That was unexpected for me.

2. Kura Sushi (くら寿司)

Kura Sushi is delicious and popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant, and famous for additive‐free and fresh sushi. You can eat many kinds of sushi. Each dish costs no more than 100 yen. Furthermore, you can enjoy game as written here. Especially, I like Salmon sushi.

3. Ten-ya (てんや)

Ten-ya is Japanese tempura rice bowl restaurant. Tempura is deep-fried fish and vegetables in a light batter and tempura rice bowl restaurant is popular in Japan. You can have it reasonably here. Especially, I like tempura of shrimp.

4. Gyoza no Ohsho (餃子の王将)

Gyoza no Ohsho is very popular Chinese restaurant. It's very delicious. "Gyoza" means dumpling or pot stickers. "No" means "of" in Japanese. "Ohsho" is king piece of Japanese chess. Especially, I like Gyoza and fried rice.

5. Isomaru Suisan (磯丸水産)

Isomaru Suisan is a Japanese‐style baran izakaya with fresh seafoods. It's reasonable and delicious.

You can avail there daytime, too. Especially, I like Salmon bowl.

6. Tenkaippin (天下一品)

There are so many ramen restaurants in Japan. Tenkaippin is one of the most famous chain ramen restaurants. It is characterized by thick taste. Ramen is delicious, so I recommend to try it when you visit Japan at least once.

7. Fugetsu (風月)



Fugetsu is famous Okonomiyaki restaurant. Okonomiyaki is a kind of Japanese-style pancakes. I like Okonomiyaki, so I recommend you to try it when you visit Japan. Among the menu, "Butatama" (okonomiyaki with pork) is standard. "Modanyaki" is the okonomiyaki with "yakisoba" (Fried noodles).

8. Katsuya (かつや)

Katsuya is Tonkatsu (Japanese pork cutlet) and Katsudon (Tonkatsu bowl with egg and onion) restaurant. Katsudon is very popular food and I want to recommend it, too. You can have it reasonably here.







9. Marugameseimen (丸亀製麺)

Marugameseimen is udon (wheat noodle) restaurant. You can select various topping, such as Tempura, raw egg or Mentaiko (walleye pollack roe) etc. I like udon with Tempura especially.

10. Hidakaya (日高屋)

Hidakaya is also popular Chinese restaurant. You can have Gyoza, fried rice or fried chicken etc. This restaurant is also reasonable and delicious.

I recommend to try Japanese style restaurant when you visit Japan. You can experience it at low cost, so it's easy to go around many restaurants.

Kura Sushi; popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Japan, it's delicious and reasonable

When you visit Japan, I recommend strongly to go to conveyor belt sushi restaurant. In generally, it's delicious and reasonable. Furthermore, you can experience Japanese style sushi restaurant.

Kura Sushi is one of the most popular conveyor belt sushi restaurants in Japan. It's famous for consideration for health such as not being included aditive in sushi. And each dish has a cover for keeping on cleanliness.

At conveyor belt sushi restaurant, the sushi dishes go around the counter and tables on a conveyor belt. And you can take sushi dish which you like.
The system of conveyor belt sushi restaurant started in Osaka in 1958, it was inspired by belt conveyor for beer production.

In addition that, when the sushi dish which you want doesn't come for a long, you can order indivisually at touch panel. By do this, you can get it soon.
It was enjoyable to wait for coming a dish which I like at first, but now the touch panel is more convenient for me.

Kura sushi is often crowded, so I recommend to make a reservation by internet if possible.

At Kura Sushi, each dish costs no more than one hundred yen. It's reasnable for sushi. That's one reaason of being popular.

Furthermore, you can play game at Kura Sushi every you have five dises. The game is shown at overhead screen. If you win the game, you can get a toy. It depends on luck absolutely, but it might be enjoyable experience.

Izushi town; you can enjoy Soba noodles and the cityscape of Japanese castle town in Hyogo

Izushi town in Hyogo prefecture is famous for Soba (buckwheat noodles). It's very delicious!!
Izushi Soba has a feature that a portion for one person is divided 5 dishes and you can have it by various flavoring such as egg, wasabi and yam etc.

If you have a lot of bowls of soba, you can get certification of connoisseur of soba. Surprisingly, if
you have the certification, you can soba as much as you want at Izushi.

In addition that, Izushi is known as a castle town.
You can see old style Japanese cityscape. It's a quiet atmosphere. And there are dozens of Soba restaurants around bell tower.

The lighting at evening creates a beautiful atmosphere.

This is inside of one of Soba restaurants "Honjin." The wall and ceiling is decorated with folk arts. The Japanese atomsphere are also interesting.  

This is an entrance of the restaurant. The atomsphere is some similar with Traditional Japanese inn.

The town is illuminated at night. It's also fantastic atmosphere.  The bell tower and castle is close to the restaurant "Honjin."
