Places to visit in Kochi, Shikoku Japan; Katsura-Hama and Hirome market etc

There are many sightseeing spots in Kochi city. Kochi city is in Shikoku region and warm place.
Furthermore, I consider people in Kochi prefecture are the kindest in Japan.
Bycicle or car is convenient way for sightseeing in Kochi. You can avail a rental bicycle near Kochi station.

1. Katsura-Hama

 
One of the most famous sightseeing spots is Katsura-Hama. This is beautiful sandy beach.


 
The statue of Ryoma Sakamoto is seen at Katsurahama and around Kochi city.
He is from Kochi region and played an active part for Meiji Revolution. His thought is said to be so advanced. He is one of the most popular Japanese person.

2. Harimaya bridge


 
Harimaya bridge is knows as one of the most disappointed sightseeing spots in Japan.

3. Ryugado cave

 
Ryugado is Limestone cave. This is fantastic place. You can go to there from Kochi station by rental bicycle.


You can buy fossil at shop.

4. Hirome Ichiba (Matket)



Hirome Ichiba is also famous sightseeing spot.
You can have many Japanese foods and drink there.

5. Kochi Castle


 
There is a Japanese style castle, "Kochi castle." It is illuminated at night.

6. Yanase Takashi memorial hall (Anpanman museum)


Anpanman is one of the overwhelming popular anime for children in Japan. Anmanpan is a hero who helps people in need.
The author is Yanase Takashi, his memorial hall is in Kochi prefecture where is his birthplace. It exhibits about Anpanman and other mangas. It's also called Anpanman museum.
